Friend Feed Rooms to Feed a Niche Social Network

I finally found something that I love Friend Feed for.  By creating a room for Boxing News and then adding that RSS feed to the boxing social network I have created on Ning I now have a way to grab the best boxing writing and news from across the internet and add it to my site.  The only thing I don’t like about it is that the output of the feed is really bloated with a bunch of unecessary (at least for how I am trying to use the feed) links back to Friend Feed.
