Growing up April Fools

Pranks were a year round event in my house.  My parents were big fans of pulling pranks on my brother and I.  This started a war where everyone was constantly on guard in our house of being pranked.  Some of my favorites:

• My parents waking us up in the middle of the night to tell us we missed the bus and to get dressed and get in the car.  We would stumble to the car and fall back asleep while waiting for my parents to come drive us to school.  Eventually we would figure out that it was 3am and our parents had gone back to sleep.
• Sometimes they would come home and tell us that there was a huge fair or some other attraction being set up nearby.  We would immediately jump on our bikes to go try and scope it out.  After a couple hours of riding around trying to figure out exactly which grocery store parking lot they were talking about we would come home to get laughed at.
• Going to the mall and telling us to meet them at the car at some set time.  They would then go move the car and watch and laugh as we wandered around the parking lot.
• As we got older it was time for payback.  Everytime my dad started a new job or got a new secretary we would constantly call and say we were his boyfriend.
• Walking around in thong underwear when my mom had guests over.
