So today was the three month check up since undergoing major re-constructive surgery on my jaw back in November.  Above is a picture of me right before the surgery and then each month since then.  My doctor says everything seems to be healing nicely but they are concerned about some of the swelling I am still experiencing on the right side of my face.  I am starting to regain feeling in my lips and chin and eating and talking becomes easier everyday.  Still really looking forward to being able to eat a burger. 

More than anything I am just really happy my mouth isn’t wired shut anymore.  Seeing all those suckers in the lobby of the doctors office trying to recover who couldn’t talk reminded me how bad those two months were.
