One of my favorite things about my trip to Las Vegas was seeing my grandfather (abuello).  He is 78 years old and still a pit boss at a major Vegas casino.  Even more impressive is the fact that he has been married 12 times.  During our time together I was asking him about life back in Cuba. After his usual tyrade against Castro and the communist regime he showed me this picture he had recently found.   The picture was taken in the 1950’s in Havana before Castro came to power.  The baby sitting in the middle is my father.  The woman on the left is my grandmother and on the right is my great grandmother.  This is actually the first picture I have ever seen of my great grandmother.  Some day I hope to have the opportunity to travel to Cuba and see where my family came from.
