Market research is no different then a night at the bar

A great analogy from Rob yesterday about market research being no different then surveying the scene when you walk into a bar.  You look at the packs of girls and try discern their needs.  The group of yuppie woman are looking for  long term relationship.  The super models want status.  The party girls are good to go. 

Now figure out where your product fits.
